It’s the small acts done on a daily basis that turn two people from a "you and I" into an "us."
MAKING THE WORLD A BETTER PLACE FOR ALL
A UNIVERSAL MISSION
BUILDING A SPECIAL NEEDS COMMUNITY
African children with Down Syndrome, Autism, and other developmental disorders have limited opportunities. Often shunned by their communities and sometimes even their parents, we saw a critical gap in special education. With a sports stadium, special school, training center, and commissioned study, ChabadAid is here to bridge the divide.
BATTLING FOOD INSECURITY
Political unrest in Nigeria and the reign of political extremist group Boko Haram has left over 8 million of the country’s citizens desperate for food, the majority of them orphans or widows. At ChabadAid we do whatever we can to feed the hungry.
We look for opportunities to improve Nigerian roads, buildings, and other public works, dedicating our time and attention to schools and orphanages that need it most.
IMPROVING EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES
We’re focused on building a better tomorrow for Nigeria’s next generation. The country’s failing school system often leaves teachers bitter and resentful, with the negative feelings often hurting students the most. We do whatever we can to fill in the gaps, whether boosting students morale, showing teachers that they matter, or fixing a school building on its way to collapsing.
A stable workforce is a strong step toward a stable society. We invest in strengthening female employment, training displaced persons, and modernizing agricultural methods. With all of our projects, the goal is the same: stronger income sources for Nigerian families.
